The Loggerhead Turtle has a reddish / brown shell on the top and yellow on the bottom, which is very similar in shape to a heart. The length of this species is around 4 ft and they can weigh up to 250 pounds. Their jaws develop with an impressive level of pressure as they consume many prey that have a hard shell. Normally they feed on mollusks, fish and crustaceans, they have to submerge for a considerable time to be able to capture their food.
