The Tow in board was designed to surf waves while being towed by a jet ski. The longboard was designed for experienced surfers that are looking for "Retro" style and sensations. The difficulty for handling this board in the waves is a bit more advanced since the sufferer has to move forward and backwards for controlling the direction and speed of it. The Retro Board is a short board with very strange shapes, these are thicker and much shorter, wider at the front with little curve at the middle. They can be found with a swallow or pin tail and can have 1, 2, 3 and even 4 keels. They are ideal for small waves with little force, therefore they are not so useful for big waves.

The mini malibu board has a wide design from the nose to the tail, similar to the "Evolution boards", unlike the fact that these have a wider nose and are much more stable, ideal for beginner surfers, heavier surfers or with less physical condition as they reach more travel distance for each stroke.
