The longboard was designed for experienced surfers that are looking for “Retro” style and sensations. The difficulty for handling this board in the waves is a bit more advanced since the sufferer has to move forward and backwards for controlling the direction and speed of it. Every year there are several longboard tournaments at Saladita beach.
